The Imperial Shield from Epic Armoury is a striking latex shield that draws inspiration from the late 13th-century kite shields. With its semi-curved gothic design, this shield features a meticulously sculpted and hand-painted studded metal rim and a laurel-crowned skull and banner on the face of the shield. It is perfect for characters looking for an intimidating shield with an edgy touch. The Imperial Shield can be worn on the left hand, secured by two leather arm straps on the back and a solid punch grip hidden behind the shield boss. The rugged EVA foam in its construction ensures a reliable and long-lasting grip, while the durable latex coating provides the necessary protection in LARP combat.

Maintenance

All latex-coated products need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coat’s flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.

Store your latex shield in a cool, dry environment. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your shield from adhering to other products.
