Technical Details
Epic Armoury's Mercenary Sword, part of the Vanguard line, is inspired by mediaeval European longswords. It features a versatile grip suitable for both one and two-handed use. The sword has a smaller crossguard than typical European swords, allowing for greater manoeuvrability. The hilt is crafted from polyurethane and boasts intricate details, resembling wood with rivets and gold bands. The hilt and pommel are coloured to mimic steel with gold accents, ensuring a secure grip for the wielder. The blade is constructed from closed-cell polyurethane foam and is carefully coloured to resemble real steel. Unlike most LARP weapons, the Vanguard line is low-maintenance, requiring only occasional checks for signs of wear and tear, such as cuts or breaks.
