Knight Shield

Epic Armoury’s Knight Shield draws inspiration from the classic heater shields used in 15th-century jousting. Its hand-painted face features green, white, and gold stripes, mimicking the traditional heraldic design. The shield’s rim is detailed with brass studs and sculpted to look like metal. Its timeless and classic design makes this shield perfect for knights or any character seeking a traditional look. The Knight Shield can be worn left-handed and is secured with three leather arm straps on the back, attached to hard EVA foam for a reliable and solid grip that will last. Made from durable closed-cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, this LARP shield will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

Maintenance

All latex-coated products need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coat’s flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.

Store your latex shield in a cool, dry environment. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your shield from adhering to other products.
