The Epic Armoury Knightley Gambeson is a padded jacket with long sleeves, covering the wearer from neck to hips. Its padding, arranged in vertical and horizontal patterns, allows for optimal movement. While effective as standalone quilted armor—a practice dating back to 400 BC—its primary use is as padding beneath heavier metal armor, enhancing protection against various weapons.

Crafted with a 100% cotton outer layer, the gambeson features padding made from a 50% cotton and 50% polyester mix, and a 100% cotton lining for comfort. This versatile piece is ideal for historical reenactments and LARP events, providing basic protection on its own and excellent defense when paired with plate or chain mail.

This product is handmade and hand-painted and therefore unique. As a result, when compared with similar item numbers, this product can have natural deviations in pattern, colour and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
