The Black 2nd Quality Leather Gauntlet from Epic Armoury is a robust, full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather gauntlet with discolouration and an unfinished interior (see photos). The safety of this armour is unaffected by the staining, and it is not easily noticeable when worn. To suit the demands of your more rural character, we are selling items at a reduced price rather than tossing them away and wasting material. The fingers are shielded to the first joint by two overlapping, rectangular knuckle-shields and a thumb shield. The knuckle-shields are attached to a larger plate that covers the lower arm, the wrist and the back of the hand. The edges of every component are sewn for reinforcement. The knuckle and thumb shields are also convexly shaped to provide more durability. You put it on by slipping your hand through the leather straps fastened to the knuckle and thumb shields. The flattened leather strings that make up the cuff's decoration can be adjusted. The gauntlet can be worn on its own or with the Thief or Falcon Gloves from Epic Armoury. Please take note that each gauntlet is offered separately; hence, you will only receive a left or right-hand gauntlet.
